A total of sixteen people, between competitors, coaches and judges, make up the Guerrero state surfing selection that is set to compete in the cold waters of Rosarito beach in Baja California this September 4th – 8th, 2013.

The participating states include: Baja California Sur (Southern Baja), Sinaloa, Colima, Nayarit, Jalisco, Michoacan, Distrito Federal, Oaxaca, Veracruz, Quintana Roo, Guerrero and Baja California Norte (Northern Baja).

During five days of competition at the Rosarito beach pier, the competitors (in addition to competing with rivals) will face weather conditions like cold water and winds, meaning wetsuits are a must. The quality is sure to come out, however, and we will likely see some great maneuvers.
