This past November 30th, Ignacio “Nacho” Felix Cota presented his book “Tribe of the Waves” at the FIL (Feria Interncional de Libros) in Guadalajara, Jalisco. The book chronicles the early days of Mexican surfing, where Nacho and a small group of friends became the first Mexican surfers to practice the sport in Mexico, learning in the icy waters of Ensenada. The book takes us back to when the first surfboards arrived in Mexico and describes the first “surfaris” that Nacho and his friends embarked upon along the coasts of Mexico and throughout the World. “Tribe of the Waves” will undoubtedly make a valuable addition to your library, regardless of whether you’re a surfer or not.
