Hennesey´s World Sup & Paddleboard Championships

Held on playa Palmilla last November 3rd and 4th, this classic SUP event had its third edition, promoting this new kind of surf sport that is having a lot of acceptance worldwide.

We must highlight Fernando Stalla’s participation that showed a great physical condition by making an extraordinary competence and winning the Elite Race as well as achieving an honorable second place at the exhausting Distance Race.

All this victories together, gave him the General Champion Title of the tournament. Stalla is calling the attention of everyone at tournaments due to the great level he is showing. He was the best Latin at the Distance Race competence in the last SUP world tournament organized by ISA.

Gabriela Farías, Verónica Nava, Javier Jiménez, Diego Martínez and Ryan Helm, all of them members of the Mexican National Team had a good participation that will prepare them for the next SUP World Tournament to be held at Peru next year.

During the event there were free lessons, especially for kids but as well for general audience, live music and turtles liberation among other activities.
