SYNOPSIS:
This is the story of surf phenomenon, Jay Moriarity (played by: Jonny Weston), where, at the age of fifteen, Jay discovers, ‘Mavericks’, one of the most massive surf breaks in the world right in his hometown of Santa Cruz, California. He enlists the help of legendary surfer, Frosty Hesson (Gerard Butler), to train hard and survive this oceanic phenomenon.
When Jay and Frosty embark on the task of achieving the impossible, an important friendship emerges that transforms both of their lives, and Jay’s attempts at mastering the waves at Mavericks pushes all the limits of surfing.
