Mexico’s fernando stalla invited to Abu dhabi surf & paddle all stars invitational

A group of the best Stand Up Paddle-boarders in the world has been invited to Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates to participate in the Abu Dhabi Surf & Paddle All Stars Invitational from April 3rd – 7th, 2013. The event, organized by Abu Dhabi Sailing & Yacht Club, SUP UAE and Wadi Adventure, will be held at a wave pool at the Wadi Adventure theme park.
Abu Dhabi has been a longtime host to some of the world’s top sporting events of the highest levels, including Formula 1 Races, golf competitions, as well as some of the most important races in the yachting world. However, from April 3rd – 7th, 2013, the city will open its arms to a new type of excellent sport: Stand Up Paddle, for the first annual Abu Dhabi Surf & Paddle All Stars Invitational.
A group of eighteen elite athletes have been announced for the All Stars Invitational and include major athletes from the Stand Up Paddle World Tour and World Series, as well as established legends that deserve the chance to be an All-Star. This includes the most prominent Mexican SUP-boarder, Fernando Stalla, who recently won two bronze medals—one as an individual and the other as a team, in the recent World SUP Championship in Peru.
Ryan Helm is also among those invited to attend the event in Abu Dhabi.
